Who We Are

AIToolVillage is an independent AI tools directory and review site. We research, test and review AI tools across every category — writing, SEO, video, finance, coding, design and more — and publish honest assessments to help individuals and businesses find the right tool for their needs.

The site was founded by Simon Clarke, a digital entrepreneur based in Jamaica who has spent years building online income streams and evaluating software tools. AIToolVillage grew out of a simple frustration: most AI tool review sites are either superficial listicles or thinly disguised promotional content. We set out to build something more useful — detailed, honest reviews that actually help people make decisions.

We cover 200+ AI tools and publish new reviews, comparisons and guides every week. Our goal is to be the most useful independent AI tools resource on the internet.

We do not accept payment to write positive reviews or to feature tools in our directory. Our editorial positions are independent of our commercial relationships.

How We Make Money

AIToolVillage is a free resource. We keep the lights on through two revenue streams:

Affiliate commissions: Some links on our site are affiliate links — if you click through and purchase a tool, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only include affiliate links for tools we have genuinely reviewed. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial assessments.
Display advertising: We display ads through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not influence which tools we review or how we rate them.

Our commitment: A tool with an affiliate programme gets the same honest treatment as one without. If a tool has real weaknesses, we say so — regardless of whether we earn a commission on it. You can find our affiliate disclosure at the top of any page that contains affiliate links.
