Watch out for
AI generation quality below Midjourney and Adobe Firefly
Fotor has a free plan with basic photo editing, background removal and limited AI features. Exports on the free plan include a Fotor watermark. The Pro plan at $8.99/month removes watermarks, increases AI generation credits and unlocks advanced editing features.
Canva is the stronger general-purpose design tool with a larger template library, better collaboration features and a more mature AI toolset. Fotor is better for photo editing specifically — its portrait retouching, AI enhancer and background removal are stronger than Canva's for photography-focused use cases.
